Prayer Talk #4

Wyndham Resort, Pagosa Springs, Colorado

I have an upcoming obligation, that Is really more of a God inspired opportunity that means a lot to me. I have been nervous about this opportunity, as it requires me to speak at length in front of an audience…of which I have no experience. I can sing praise songs to God for hours, but to talk freely in front of people does not come naturally. I wish it did, but maybe if I practice in front of a mirror I can pull it off…or better yet, trust God. I hope to become less nervous and more confident as I continue to share my journals with you. I figure writing is a first step for me.

Anyways, this God given opportunity has been scheduled for some time, and the wonderful person that presented me with this opportunity recently heard the Lord tell her to “wait”, so we will be pushing this event further into the future. THANK YOU GOD!!! I did not want to be the one to request scheduling this further into the future, and the Lord has once again heard my prayers and communicated my needs. This has strengthened my faith in our Lord even more. I am such a control freak, and need to trust Him. This opportunity was scheduled on one of the only days I have off at home this month, which is the day following our 11 day family vacation in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. It was starting to create some stress (as of today actually), then I received this message today to “wait”. God is so BIG and omnipresent. He continues to amaze me!!! Remember to give your worries over to him and trust in Him.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

  1. Faith can literally move mountains!! He knows even our unasked prayers 🙏

I had shared the following with my friends today morning only:

From Psalm 27:1:  “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?  The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

I suggest: have a brief note on the topics and sequence you want to cover and do the rest as you are inspired.
