Dear God,
Thank you for getting my attention, through this pain and suffering. When living in this world without a care in the world, it is easy to get distracted by what is not important. I should be living an ETERNAL LIFE, not a worldly life. With these chronic pains, my attention is brought back into focus on YOU. My pain brings me back to my FAITH in you and reminds me that you have a purpose and a plan for me. My suffering alone is not what makes me strong. I have been weak in my suffering without you. I cannot manage this pain and suffering without you there by my side. Thank you Holy Spirit for filling me with a desire to help others in my situation. Let us have HOPE in your everlasting LOVE. Let us believe that your intention is to not let us suffer without purpose. I truly believe that you want to mold us into something more than our prior selves. God you are good, even though it can be hard to understand in times like these. I pray for our continued PERSEVERANCE during this chronic pains journey. Your timeline is much different than that of a human lifetime, so let YOUR WILL BE DONE. Let our eyes remain on the prize, which is to GLORIFY you God.
